Depending on your account settings, you may be able to attach processes to a process. This is a useful tool to quickly associate one process instance with another. For example, if an RFI was related to Submittal, it can be attached so reviewers to see the history.
Also, it is required when generating a Consultant Invoice and Remote Electronic Approval Process (CI).
Note, only the user who attached the processes, an administrator or anyone with manage process permissions can remove the attached processes.
To attach a process to a process:
- Open the Process Instance
- Click the Attached Processes tab
- Click Attach
The Attach Processes page will be displayed.
- Filter for the processes you want to see (can be filtered by open or finished instances)
Results are displayed in the table below
- Select the check box next to the processes you want to attach.
- Click Attach.
To remove an attached process:
- Open the Process Instance
- Click the Attached Processes tab
- Select the check box next to the form you want to remove, and then click Remove
