Navigating to the e-Builder Reports Menu
e-Builder’s Reports Module User Guide
The following screenshots show how to access the e-Builder User Guide for the Reports Module. This is a general user guide created by e-Builder. It does not address the reports created specifically for CTA, but it can be used to learn general information about using the Reports Module.
QPU Project List by Financial Analyst Report
This report displays the Infrastructure Project ID and Name, Financial Analyst, Cost Engineer, PM responsible for completing the QPU, and the associated Oracle Projects. It is filtered by default to include only the projects that require QPUs. If any projects need to be added or removed from this list, please contact your Cost Engineer or Cost Manager.
Uses:
- To see the list of projects that are currently marked as requiring QPUs

To identify the Oracle Projects related to an Infrastructure Project
o Tip: Use “Ctrl + F” to search for an Oracle Project Number within the report. (ASK101)
- To identify the Financial Analyst, Cost Engineer or Project Manager responsible for the QPUs
QPU Tracking by Financial Analyst Report (Open QPUs)
This report displays open QPUs in the “PM Provide Update Step”. It is grouped by Financial Analyst, then by Project Manager (QPU). The report does not show the content of the updates, only information about the status. The content of the updates can be seen by clicking the links in the “Process Document” column.
Uses:
- Identifying the number of updates yet to received
- Determining which PMs need to be followed up with to provide updates
- Identifying how many days each update has been in the PM’s court
QPU Detail by Financial Analyst Report
This report displays the detail for all the QPUs, grouped by Financial Analyst for a given Quarter, regardless of which step in the process they are in.
Uses:
- Viewing the content of all updates for a given quarter
- Data can be copied directly from the e-Builder report and pasted into other reports or systems
Data can be exported to Excel in order to use to populate other reports
Changing the Report Filter
• The Quarter and Year displayed in the report is identified with a report filter. You must ensure the correct Quarter and Year are selected. The filters can be edited if you would like to see a different Quarter or Year.
QPUs by Financial Analyst Report
This report displays information about the status of and links to all the QPU process instances, grouped by Financial Analyst for a given Quarter, regardless of which step in the process they are in.
Refer to the screenshots above for “Changing the Report Filter” as this report also needs to be filtered to display the desired quarter.
Uses:
- Identifying the status of all processes for a given quarter
- Determining which PMs need to be followed up with to provide updates
- Identifying how many days each update has been in its current process step
QPUs by Financial Analyst (Single Project History)
This report displays information about the status of and links to all the QPU process instances for a given project, regardless of which quarter they are for or step in the process they are in.
Uses:
- Looking at historical process instances for a given project
