You will see the Accept/Decline buttons on a process when there are multiple actors that have the same item in their court. You can choose to either Accept or Decline to Take Action on the instance.
Choosing to Accept will remove the process instance from the other actor’s courts. Choosing to Decline will remove the process instance from your court. If 3 actors are responsible and 2 choose to decline, the last remaining actor will not have the option to decline.
Please note: Choosing to Decline will only remove the process instance from one’s court. If the actor does not see the process in their court, but would still like to Take Action, they can do so by finding the process through the Filter Processes section.
