The Task Order Approval (TASK) process will be used to review and approval the scoping, bidding, awarding, negotiating and execution of Task Orders for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Capital Improvement Program projects. The appropriate parties will review, provide feedback and approve the various components of the Task Order Approval process as detailed in QP-EN-402 Initiating and Amending a Contract Task Order. Please refer to the procedure for details to ensure all inputs are available and uploaded to the process to complete all activities to complete all necessary outputs.
Capturing this process electronically in Trimble Unity Construct (Trimble) will allow CTA to easily determine the status, step and stage of the process, as well as provide the ability to report and analyze the duration of the various steps and stages within individual projects or across programs. It will also provide CTA with visibility into the status of all open Task Orders. This process will the replace the use of the Remote Electronic Application (REA) for the Task Order Approvals.
